I have loved whales since I was a little kid though I used to actually be scared of orcas! (Thanks to a weird diorama of one at my local natural history museum….) Over the years I grew to really admire and appreciate them until now where they’re my top favorite animal! I feel an affinity for them. Plus if you know anything about orcas you could see how the orca life vibes with my personality!

I started streaming in the modern mainstream sense regularly sometime in 2017/2018 though I used to do streams for a job as far back as 2015. However in the late 2000s I was an active Stickam broadcaster and when I turned 18 I started camming for old school companies like Vivid. I’ve been at this a while!

Under my Kitti Minx alias I started streaming as a Vtuber summer 2020 after a stalker scare situation. In fall of 2020 the concept for Orki was put together with pre-debut starting in November 2020 leading up to the first official Orki Vtuber stream January of 2021. And I’ve been fairly active and regular at doing this since!

For regular non-ASMR streams I use a Blue Yeti though I’m working on upgrading as the funds allow to a Shure S7MB or something similar at some point. For ASMR much like my Kitti Minx ASMR audios I stream with my binaural 3DIO FS Pro II.

I’m mainly active on Twitter with my primary streaming platform currently being Twitch. I’m looking to try to be more active at making Tiktoks and uploading to my YouTube now that I have an editor to help with clips and highlights. I also started doing 18+ streams every so often on Joystick.tv

Aside from being a streamer and content creator I’m still technically an active sex worker making 18+ explicit content every so often for my Fansly page but I am on hiatus from other things in the adult field. Other than that I’m essentially a “Work From Home” mother of 3

Yes and no. My spouse obviously does as well as my eldest child. My mother and her husband know as well (my mom is even looking to get into vtuber streaming herself). Most of the rest of my family isn’t terribly net-savvy so they wouldn’t really get it, you know? But I’m not afraid if they find out or anything

And so what if they do? I’m not posting gore or shock content or anything actually awful. We don’t demonize sex in my household as well. By the time my kids stumble upon my content they’d be old enough to understand what it is and the context of it anyway

Not quite yet but he’d like to be when his schedule allows! I know many of you enjoy when he guests on my streams, especially visual novel readings. We’ll try to make something happen!

I get questions/comments like this regularly and admittedly it does get very irritating after a while. Shylily, nor anyone else, can take sole claim to an ocean creature themed Vtuber let alone an orca. Not to mention even though I’m aware she was a regular streamer as a non-Vtuber for a few years prior, she didn’t debut as a vtuber until 2022. About a year after I did! Between her previous following from the streams and content she did before and right place right time she got VERY lucky and blew up to get to the point where she’s at now. Unfortunately not everyone can be so blessed. Just because it’s the way things are, especially with how saturated the genre has become, most Vtubers WON’T blow up and will stay on the smaller side. I’m in that boat. Despite actively regularly streaming and creating as a Vtuber for over 2 years I’ve yet to get a big break and have stayed small. It happens. Maybe one day in the future I’ll get lucky who knows? But just because I’m small and the average Vtuber fan might not know my name does not mean I knocked off Shylily or am after her clout or anything. Quite the opposite actually! (Bonus: I actually know a lot about orcas from working with scientists and researchers. Try asking her to name at least 5 different orca ecotypes and what makes them unique (without googling or help from chat). Send me a clip with her answer and I’ll tell you if she’s correct or not! Haha.) Basically no, we’re nothing alike so how in the heck can I be a rip off…..? Ask this question to all the neko and kitsune Vtubers if this is such an issue for you, too. Just saying.
